Swamp Mats (also known as Cable Mats, Swamp Pads or Digger Mats) are used by excavators that are operating on soft ground. These mats are supplied with cables in both ends of the mat; the machine can "grab" the mat and swing it in front of the machine to travel and work in poor soil nditions. Our mat size is 12’ wide by 7’ long. Ten mats make a system for a standard 12′ x 70′ entrance used on most nstructions sites. Various jurisdictions require different lengths so this may be more or less depending on where they will be used.
